At Ride On St. Louis we promote health and enrich lives through love, joy and holistic healing. We are a comprehensive therapeutic, conditioning and learning non-profit organization serving veterans, and children and adults with health complications, as well as, the retired equine-assisted service horses who partner in our programs. Ride On St. Louis focuses on healing services that incorporate equine environment and horse-human interaction to provide substantial and sustaining quality of life improvements. Our health and wellness programs for both humans and horses improve quality of life through individualized treatment and or activity plans.

Ride On St. Louis became the first equine-assisted services center to operate in the South County area of St. Louis, Missouri. The initial staff consisted of the Founder and Program Director, Marita Wassman, an occupational therapy assistant and several helpers who ran the facility on a volunteer basis for five years. With community support, hard work and a vision, Ride On St. Louis has become a renowned equine-assisted services center offering elite supports through a knowledgeable and devoted staff, trained volunteers and happy, healthy equine partners.
