Helping Hands is a weekly, hands-on inclusive volunteer program designed in partnership with Pony Bird, serving individuals with a variety of physical, emotional, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities. Developed in response to a shared need for appropriate and accessible community engagement opportunities, Helping Hands empowers participants to contribute meaningfully to their community while experiencing the benefits of purposeful work, social connection, and personal growth. By taking on real responsibilities and contributing to the care of a working barn, participants gain something meaningful to share with great satisfaction.
