THOSE WHO CAN, DO.
THOSE WHO CAN DO MORE, VOLUNTEER.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping our mission thrive! Whether you’re lending a hand outdoors, supporting an event, or helping behind the scenes, your time and energy create real impact for the children, adults, and service horses who call Ride On St. Louis home.

Where We Need You Most
Since recently moving into our new Forever Home, our greatest area of need has been facility care and beautification. Volunteers help us keep the barn and grounds clean, safe, and welcoming, to maintain a place of peace and joy for all who visit.

You or your group are needed to assist with age- and skill-appropriate tasks such as:
• Grounds maintenance (washing fences, clearing brush, grass cutting or trimming, etc.)
• Cleaning the barn interior and common spaces
• Small repair projects like painting, sanding or tool maintenance
We host several "Sunshine & Service" work days each year for up to 30 volunteers. Our next Sunshine & Service Work Day is Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

But you don't need to wait until then, we welcome individuals or groups to arrange service days tailored to their schedule. Just complete an application below!

Creative and Event Volunteers
If outdoor work isn’t your cup of tea, don’t worry, there’s a place for your talents, too! We often need volunteers to help with:
• Addressing invitations and writing thank-you notes
• Decorating or preparing for special events
• Running errands and picking up supplies
• Assisting with community outreach and event
Your creativity, enthusiasm, and helping hands make a difference in all aspects of our mission.
Ready to Volunteer?

Volunteer opportunities are by appointment only, and we cannot accept walk-ins at this time.
Please complete our Volunteer Application to be added to our notice list for all upcoming opportunities throughout the year. We encourage everyone interested to sign up and stay in the loop!
Please note: We do not offer opportunities for volunteers to feed, groom, ride or handle our horses. Equine care is reserved exclusively for staff. Service horses are specially selected and professionally managed by equine specialists in training, behavior, and welfare to ensure the highest level of safety, comfort, and performance reliability.
