Schaefer Trucking and RTTR Donate Service to Repair Work Truck

Rob's Truck & Tractor Repair (RTTR) located in Desoto, MO and owned by Rob Heimos, is a full repair shop for agriculture and construction equipment. Schaefer Trucking located in Columbia, IL and owner by Norman Schaefer, provides a fleet of vehicles for hauling rock, asphalt, equipment and debris for construction projects. The two companies and their employees donated nearly $800 of service, labor and parts to repair Ride On St. Louis's donated work vehicle. Our work truck, which is used to trailer horses and equipment, and transport feed and hay shipments, has been in and out of the repair shop throughout 2019 with a host of mechanical issues including (starter assembly, radiator, water pump and coolant repair, power steering and pressure hose repair, remove and repair steering stabilizer, new battery and brakes among other parts).

The 2002 Ford F350 Super Duty Pickup was donated in 2011 from Ameren MO. Ride On St. Louis is requesting grant funding to help replace this integral piece of equipment, however the granting process, which is not guaranteed, can take anywhere from several months to one year before a proposal is approved and funds are distributed. If you know an individual or business who may be able to donate a one ton diesel truck please contact us at 636-464-3408 or info@rideonstl.org

Our sincerest thank you to Ride On St. Louis donors (especially Jen and Linda), RTTR, Schaefer Trucking and their employees for sharing their time, skills and resources to assist us with repairing our vehicle.
