Ride On St. Louis is joining #GivingTuesday on December 3rd for a day of global giving! Anyone, anywhere can get involved and give back in a way that’s meaningful to them.
This #GivingTuesday we’re fundraising for the winter hay and grain of our working horses who give love, strength and joy to so many throughout the year; our goal is $3,400. We need your help.
How can you help on #GivingTuesday?
As a supporter of Ride On St. Louis, you can create a Facebook fundraiser and share it with your friends on #GivingTuesday. Creating a fundraiser is easy, and we welcome fundraisers with any goal amount! Starting 7:00am CST on December 3, 2019 Facebook will match dollar for dollar on a first come, first served basis until US nonprofit giving hits $7 million matched.
Partnering with horses is rewarding work, but requires many resources! Horses stay warm in colder weather by consuming increased amounts in feed. Our horses will need to eat 27,776 lbs of hay and grain in the coming months. That's over 13 TONS of feed and roughly 350 bales of hay and 75 bags of grain. Our horses helped 74 people achieve quality of life improvements in 2019 alone, and now they need your help to stay warm this winter.
