An Update from Director Marita Wassman

"I am Marita Wassman Director and of Ride On St. Louis. My husband and I founded the organization in 1998. Because everyone watching this is such an important part of Ride On St. Louis, I want to provide this update to keep us connected socially while we remain physically apart. "Over the past year, our center has been working towards relocating to a flood-free forever home. The project continues to move forward during this time, and involves many outside parties, processes,

    A Crusade for Good

Original article and source at https://www.doubledtrailers.com/ride-on-st.-louis-imperial-mo/ Ride On St. Louis is named after Saint Louis IX, a Catholic crusader who is also the namesake of the city, St. Louis, Missouri. Everything Saint Louis did was for the glory of God and the good of the people. As an organization that sees the power of prayer and the value of service, they find inspiration in Saint Louis IX who was renowned for his charity, and continue his crusade to h

    Q: How's the Herd?

Many friends have been asking about our lovely herd of horses, and missing their visits since exiting the Anheuser Estate. Our horses enjoy being guests on a private thoroughbred breeding and training farm in Illinois. During the day, after their morning breakfast, the herd spends time on the rolling hills of two, four acre pastures. Foraging, playing and roaming, they take full advantage of the the beautiful and accommodating atmosphere. During the evening, each horse rests

    Relocation Update

Ride On St. Louis has been working on abounding details of many possible properties for a forever home. We appreciate all the love, kindness and support shown while we are working towards this new home to serve those in the community who need love, strength and joy in their lives. We are reviewing potential properties, but remain open to discussion involving other possibles or arrangements. A minimum of 25 acres along the highway 270/55 corridor has been identified as an idea

    Relocation Update

Thank you to everyone who is keeping Ride On St. Louis in your prayers during this pivotal transition phase. If you have been watching the recent news on Mississippi River stages, you may have heard it is predicted to crest next week around 34 to 35 feet, which would have placed the water well across our small turnout (called the J/O), into the cubby stall, lapping up to the barn and what was Cruz's end stall, and seeping into the indoor arena. We are thankful for our Decembe

Services Conclude at Anheuser Estate in Kimmswick

All of us at Ride On St. Louis are pleased to have completed a fabulous fall session! As you may know, Ride On St. Louis celebrated our 20th anniversary this year and has done a lot of growing since 1998. For the last 16 years, we have called the Anheuser Estate in Kimmswick our home and are grateful to Mrs. Dorothy Hatfield and past mayor Brian Selsor for inviting us onto the property to carry out our mission in promoting health and enriching lives. This past session will co
